Scrap Wood Projects
Nothing clutters up your garage more than tons of small pieces of scrap wood after you've finished a few projects around the house. What better opportunity than to create some small projects for art, wood decor, or even small gifts for your family!
Do note, that for all these projects, I have used my Cricut to design stencils to paint onto the wood.
Mantle Decor
This is a scrap piece of a 2x4 that I have sanded and stained. I created a stencil using my cricut of HOME and painted it gold.
Last Name, Party of X sign
This is another easy project you can create with wood. I had left over 1x12 wood that I had used to create wall bottle openers to create signs for a couple of our friends who were expecting additions to their families! Plus I got to include their dogs in the mix too!
Entryway Art
I created a display case for my husband's office and had leftover backing (1/4" MDF) and some 1x2s I had laying around. I used the Cricut to design the wording and a Brad Nail gun to secure the frame onto the 1/4" MDF (or plywood is often used).
